The Ballincollig Branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann was formed over 37 years ago - in January 1975. From humble beginnings the branch has grown from strength to strength and now, boasts a large membership of both adults and children.
The branch has always been active, taking part in the various competitions organised by Comhaltas including the highlight of the year in our competition calendar - The Fleadh Cheoil.

A very successful and enjoyable County Fleadh Cheoil was held in Macroom last weekend, May 11th to 13th. Congratulations to all who participated and to those who are going through to the next stage, the Munster Fleadh Cheoil which will be held in Dungarvan, July 15th to 22nd. Comhghairdeas agus go n-éirí libh go léir. Results to follow in the next issue.
Oíche Cheoil

An Oíche Cheoil will be held in Lakewood Sports Complex, Ovens on Wednesday night next, May 23rd at 9.30pm. It will be an evening of traditional music, song and dance and everyone is welcome to attend. Beidh fáilte is fiche roimh ghach éinne agus beidh ceol agus craic againn le chéile. Admission is free.
