Music Classes Term 1 2020-2021
A new term of music classes is due to begin - and, because of the current Covid-19 crisis, Ballincollig CCE officers have had to review how we operate our classes and how best to proceed with the provision of these classes to our members. We have looked at the need to ensure the health and safety of not only the music students, but also their parents and families... and indeed the health and safety of our teachers. We also have to take into consideration the greater school population of the schools that our members and teachers are part of.
Classes provided by Ballincolig CCE in Coláiste Choilm.
Taking all of the above points into account, Ballincollig CCE has decided that our music classes normally held in Coláiste Choilm will only be carried out online (for term 1 at least) .
These classes will be presented 'real time' by our teachers via Zoom ( or similar online platform). Classes will as far as possible be on similar night to last year (i.e. Thursday night - this is with a view to hopefully resuming face-to-face classes in term 2), and will commence on week ending 19th September 2020. The class sizes will be limited to 4 for a 30 minute class and 6 for a 40 minute class.
We look forward to welcoming you all back to classes in the coming weeks.
Once you have completed the re-enrollment process, the teacher will contact the parents concerned and arrange the schedule and parameters for the online classes.
Should you have any queries in relation to this please email email@example.com and we will revert to you as soon as possible.
Classes provided by Ballincolig CCE in Gaelscoil Uí Ríordáin, Scoil Eoin & Scoil Mhuire.
The students attending these classes are all part of the actual school community there. As a result of this, the classes for Term 1 will be organised and monitored by the individual school managements and not by Ballincollig CCE. Registration for these classes will be done internally within each school, and cannot be done online via Ballincollig CCE website. Queries in relation to these classes should be directed to the relevant school management on return to school.
